Bad Teacher Gets at Least a B+ in My Book!

Since I have to work early tomorrow, I opted to not go out this Saturday night. Instead I checked out what free movies were up on 'On Demand'. I decided to watch "Bad Teacher" because it was one of those movies that I wouldn't mind seeing, but had no intention on paying to see.

The movie stars Cameron Diaz along side Jason Segel and Justin Timberlake. In addition to these 3 there are a couple other fun extras that got thrown into the mix, Phyllis Smith (The Office), Eric Stonestreet (Modern Family) and John Michael Higgins (Happily Divorced).

The movie came out last June. From what I remember, it didn't get very good ratings and wasn't in theatres for long. 
Now, maybe it was because I watched the unrated version of this movie, but I thought it was pretty hilarious! Cameron Diaz plays a character that I would never picture her playing. She plays the part of Elizabeth Halsey, a pot-head teacher who's goal is to become a trophy wife. She has no desire to be a teacher, she hates her job, hates most of her co-workers and tells it like it is to her students. I was shocked at the things that came out of Cameron Diaz's mouth! Whenever I think of her, I think of the movie "The Holiday". This is completely opposite. In addition to Diaz, Jason Segel and Justin Timberlake had some pretty hilarious scenes.

(Throughout the whole movie, all I could think is that this reminds me of a certain someone I know, if she was a teacher.)

The trailer doesn't do the movie complete justice. Don't get me wrong. Definitely not at the top of my list of movies, but definitely worth the watch. If you have WOW in the MetroDetroit area, "Bad Teacher" is available for free on Starz On Demand. If you don't have WOW, rent the movie. It's worth the couple of bucks!
