Free Show at UHF Saturday with an Artist that Left Us Speechless

While you're out and about finishing up your Christmas shopping this weekend, take a break and stop by UHF in Royal Oak. Or, better yet, stop by there to do some Christmas shopping and stay for their afternoon entertainment. This Saturday UHF will have live entertainment in the store at 2:30 p.m. featuring Julian Paaige.

Prior to seeing this event posting, I hadn't heard of Julian Paaige. So I headed over to good ol' Facebook and SoundCloud to check out some tunes. The best way to describe this music is different and maybe even a little bizarre, but I definitely like it. According to Julian Paaige's Facebook page, the genre of music he plays is "Creep Pop". I don't know if that's a thing and I'm completely out of the loop or if that's a self created genre. I know I've never heard of it though. I also know that that is a perfect description of the songs I heard. Seriously... I'm kind of hooked though. I think we will definitely have to hook up with Julian Paaige in the future. Until then, check out the 11 tracks on SoundCloud and the music video below (definitely puts the "creep(y)" in "creep pop"). Then head to UHF on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. to hear Julian Paaige live and pick up some records while you are there!
