Tonight you have a chance to partake in some holiday festivities and get into Detroit's Museums for free at the 40th annual Noel Night. This event brings together artists, vendors, musicians and performers in Midtown for one night. You can pick up some Christmas gifts for your friends and family made by local artists (including Angela McBride from Peace Love Spandex) while shopping outdoors in a very festive setting.
In addition to shopping, the streets are filled with song during sing-a-longs and even horse drawn carriages. If you want to warm up for a bit, you can head into numerous establishments that will all be opening their doors to the public for free tonight, including the DIA, Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History and the Detroit Historical Museum.
Sounds like a fun night and better yet, it's free. So head downtown and get in the Christmas spirit! Noel Night is from 5 - 9:30 p.m. tonight only! So drop in after the Detroit Urban Craft Fair or before you head out to the bar for the night. If you don't make it there tonight, you'll have to wait a whole year for a night like this!
