Time to Bust Out Those Ugly Christmas Sweaters From Grandma!

Our favorite booking company, Black Iris Booking, is bringing you a special holiday edition of their 5 for $5 parties- five dollars for five local bands. Sunday December 9th, the Magic Stick Lounge will have a few great locals are putting on their best ugly Christmas sweaters and covering some of the best bands in rock and roll/punk rock history. 

THISSHITISGENIUS consists of members of Trace The Veins and SNS and they are performing as Dillinger Four. Goddamnit includes members of Sawchuk, Bailout, SNS and PLB and they will be covering Alkaline Trio. SharkFist will be playing as Shark Fist Their Heads and will be covering Off with Their Heads. Slaves to The Pavement will perform as Slaves to the Dookie and will be covering Green Day. Finally, S.N.A.F.U. will be covering Bad Brains, no fancy name for them. 

The show starts at 8 and is an all age’s event. Come on down with your best ugly sweater for what will no doubt turn into a drunken sing a long of some of my favorite groups. There is nothing like a Green Day sing along with friends to cheer up those Holidays spirits.
