It’s time for this month's High Vibrations on May 23rd and this installment is being billed as the Movement pre-party. High Vibrations is an event at The Loving Touch that features a mixed group of electronic artists from the Detroit area. They describe it as “dedicated to showcasing the forward thinking futuristic electronic music community of Detroit”.High Vibrations is always free and it is always a good time. This month's event will feature Phantasmagoria, Eddie Logix, Lord Scrummage, Doc Waffles, Jon Zott, Slufter and Skotarczyk. It's a great chance for someone like me to hear new music that I may not normally be exposed to and to have a few drinks.
The LT was recently remodeled and expanded it’s stage and dance area. There is more room to pack the place and have a dance party so why not take the opportunity. The weather is finally starting to get warmer and the clothes are finally starting to come off. Time to break out your mini skirts and come kick off the festival season with Detroit’s best.
