Small, independent record labels are the backbone of the music industry. They provide a much needed service that helps get smaller bands music out to larger groups and put new music on the map. They have released quite a few albums including music by The Rich Hands, Kenny Turick, The Sights, Ohio Knife and Instant Party. Fountain Records is a Detroit based record company that has given us a unique opportunity to help put some of their products in your hands.

Ohio Knife is coming to town June 12th to play a free show at the Garden Bowl with New Swears. Everyone knows that the Garden Bowl at the Magic Stick has some of the coolest FREE shows around. They book bands a few times a month to come and play for anyone who wants to watch. These showcases are an excellent opportunity to see up and coming artists.
