Brooklyn experimental rockers,
Grooms, will be heading to town this Saturday to play
PJ's Lager House. The band just hit the road for their "
And The Road Becomes My Bride Tour" which is in support of their new full length
Infinity Caller. I had a chance to check out the album recently which I loved. It was very catchy yet different. You can stream the entire album on Noisey
here or check out the video for "I Think We're Alone Now" below. And no, it is not a cover of the song by
Tommy James & The Shondells and later made even more popular in the 80s & 90s by Tiffany. It's even better... if that's even possible.
Joining Grooms on the bill this weekend are Swimsuit, Rail, The Gator, and Wild Moccasins. Cover is only $5 and doors open at 9 p.m. The Lager House is located at 1254 Michigan Avenue in Detroit. For further details on the show or on Grooms, head over to the Lager House's event page.
