Who doesn't love birthdays? They're the perfect excuse to party and the start to a new year full of fun. This Friday night at the New Way Bar is your chance to come out and celebrate EVERYBODY's birthday!
The Birthday Show is a party put on by White Shag and it's in its second year. The band started this fun event last year as a way to celebrate the three members' (Laura Mendoza, Jorge Cortez and Joe Leone) birthdays. It was then expanded into a birthday celebration for everyone who has ever been born. It doesn't matter if your birthday just passed or it isn't until August, you are celebrating it this Friday night. Did you have a crappy birthday party that no one showed up to last year? Don't worry, you're going to have a great one this week! And no one's going to want to miss out on this one.
White Shag will be providing the tunes for this bash along with their pal Michael Turner. Showtime in Detroit and Distorted Soul are the sponsors for this event. It's free to get in (because who the hell would make people pay to get into a birthday party???) and there will be cake and party favors! So get your friends together and head out to the New Way in Ferndale Friday. Just don't show up in your birthday suit... the bar owners might not be too happy about that. Happy Birthday!!!
