This weekend marks the 20th Anniversary of one of the best restaurants in Midtown,
Cass Cafe. Located at 4620 Cass Ave. this restaurant not only serves great food, but also is known for displaying local art on the walls. In honor of their milestone anniversary, Cass Cafe is having an art opening this weekend.
"Twenty Years Against The Wall" will showcase art collected by the owners Chuck Roy and Diana May over the last 20 years. A wide range of Detroit artists will have pieces featured, including Robert Sestok, Mary Fortuna, Gilda Snowden, Jerome Ferretti, Bradley Jones, Leni Sinclair, Gary Grimshaw, Mark Arminski, Gary Eleinko, Paul Schwartz, John Bell, Eric Fogle, just to name a few.
On top of the art opening, the Cafe will also feature music by DJs
Daniel Kroha and
Richie Wohlfeil. As always, there will be a full bar available and delicious food (until 10 p.m.). You can check out the food and drink menu
