Four of my favorite artists in Detroit have teamed up to play the Lager House this Thursday, I swear this show was made for me. Tunde Olaniran, James Linck, Passalacqua, and Chris Jarvis are teaming up to celebrate the release of James’ vinyl version of his last EP The Fortress of Solitude. Jarvis and Linck will also be celebrating the kickoff of a month long tour that they are about to embark on. They need you to come out so that they can earn enough cash to head out and show the rest of America their stuff.
We plan to interview all the acts and get our readers an update on how all the boys are doing, but I am hoping that a lot of you will come out to dance with me. This lineup is guaranteed to get your booty shaking. I even asked my boss if I could come in late the next day so that I could stay out past my week night curfew and not miss a moment of the fun.
All of these acts are worth the $10 cover charge on their own, so you shouldn't think twice about the door price. Tunde will be selling copies of his highly reviewed new EP Yung Archetype and Passalacqua is finally back out, playing shows, and doing what they were meant to do, perform. Chris will no doubt set a perfect mood for the night, just like he did a few weeks ago in between bands at our two year event. Basically, as far as i'm concerned, this is the best lineup Detroit has seen in a long time and you need to be there.
Doors for the show are at 8 p.m. and PJ's Lager House is located at 1254 Michigan Ave. in Detroit.
