Paczki Day at Small's

This Tuesday Hamtramck celebrates Fat Tuesday by eating Paczkis and drinking beer. There is only one place to go as far as we're concerned and the reasons is Paczkis Bombs!

Anyone can go to a bakery and get a Paczkis on Fat Tuesday, but there is only one place you can go to bomb a Paczkis. Small's opens its doors at 10 a.m. this Tuesday and celebrates the day with food, alcohol, music, and fun. Two years ago we had the privilege of going to Small's the night before the festivities as the Paczkis were rolling in and we got an up close and personal look at the bomb, a Paczki filled with flavored vodka. There is no cover to come out on Tuesday. Music starts around 4 and the schedule is as follows:
4-4:45 p.m.: East Side Elvis (Main)
4:45-5:15 p.m.: Man Inc. (Bar)
5:15-6 p.m.: East Side Elvis (Main)
6:30-7:30 p.m.: Polka Floyd (Main)
7:30-8 p.m.: Man Inc. (Bar)
8:00-9 p.m.: Polka Floyd (Main)
9:30 p.m.: Ben Keeler & The 500 Club perform drinking songs (Main)
