Your Free Ticket to Imperial's Ooh La La Lucha Party!

Imperial is one of my favorite places to eat and drink, I love their vegetarian tacos and their Moscow Mules which they serve correctly in an real copper mug. The restaurant opened just around 2 years ago and quickly became one of the most popular places to eat in Ferndale.

This year they are hosting a crazy party on May 3rd to kick off Cinco De Mayo weekend. Ooh La La Lucha will include tequila, burlesque, and some Mexican style Lucha Libre Wrestling. This event will take place at an alternative location down the road at 231 W. Nine Mile and entrance will be limited. Since capacity is limited you have to buy tickets to get in the door. 21 and over are welcome and tickets are being sold for $20 a piece at Imperial, Public House, and UHF Records.

We were lucky enough to get our hands on two sets of tickets to giveaway to two lucky readers. Imperial will also be bringing back skate decks for auction that went over so well in previous years. They have local artists create art on a skateboard deck and then auction it off for charity. This year the money will be going to Ferndale Football Boosters Eagles Nest, which helps fund Ferndale school football programs, and Brush Park BMX, Detroit’s first DIY BMX park.

The party on Saturday will be followed up by an artists' reception at Imperial on Sunday, May 4th at 7 p.m. and a Cinco De Mayo celebration at the restaurant on Monday that includes drink and food specials.
