If you are into experimental music, you have to be at the New Dodge Lounge on Wednesday night. Bologna, Italy's own JoyCut will be bringing their digital sounds to Hamtramck.
JoyCut is a 3 piece featuring two drummers and "a guy on machines." The band has been described as sounding like, "A future where robots and humans share organic meals and feelings of hope." (MTV Iggy) They have been making their way across the US and Canada in support of their latest album PiecesOfUsWereLeftOnTheGround and are wrapping up their tour this week, with their stop in Hamtramck followed by Toronto and Buffalo. So this is a rare chance to catch this band before they head back over to Europe. To get a better idea of what JoyCut is all about, check out a video from their Audiotree session below.
