It's no secret that Ryan Gosling was in Detroit a couple of years ago. People were reporting sightings of him throughout the city and every girl in the Metro Detroit area was hoping to bump into him. While he was in town he was busy creating his directorial debut, Lost River.
Lost River is a mysterious story of a dark underworld and a secret underwater world. The film itself has received mixed reviews, but some of the best movies of all time receive bad ratings from critics. Whether you like it or hate it, there is always something cool about seeing a film that was made in Detroit and spotting some of our landmarks throughout the movie. You can even spot a few, like the now demolished Brewster Projects, in the trailer.
