New Fortune Fest II

This Sunday, May 24th the New Dodge will host the second annual New Fortune Fest. This gathering of Detroit talent will feature some of the city's best, including Passalacqua, Microphone Phelps, Doctor Illingsworth, Ancient Language, The High Strung, and more. New Fortune Records puts out tons of local music throughout the year. If  labels like this didn't exist, we wouldn't have half of the great music that we do! It isn't always easy to keep small labels like this going, so we're happy to see them growing and throwing their second festival. We hope they keep growing!

 They will be releasing a bunch of new records at the event including:

*The Ruiners "Satin's Rocket" b/w KC Smash" 45"
*Ancient Language“ In The Early Morning (ft. Lily Nyooni)” b/w “Totem” 45
*Old Empire "How To Make an Entrance" 12"
*Gold Crayon “Set It On Fire” b/w “Things We Could Have Had” 45

This is an all day event that runs from 2 p.m. till 2 a.m. It is $8 to get in the door and 21 and over are welcome. Chris Jarvis will be spinning in between the sets and the New Dodge will be serving up drink specials throughout the day.
