Party with The HandGrenades at The Whitney

This Thursday night one of our absolute favorite Detroit bands is playing. So of course we have to tell you about it! The HandGrenades will be playing and as if that isn't great enough, they are playing a Whitney Garden Party!

Whitney Garden Parties are a great way to go to The Whitney without having to spend an arm and a leg on dinner. They take place in the garden outside of the historic Whitney, unless it rains, then the party is moved indoors. The party features wonderful musicians from the area, $5 beers and $5 brats. And admission is only $5 too! Blaire Alise & The Bombshells kicked off the 2015 season a few weeks ago and the parties happen every Thursday until the end of August. Some other great acts that are playing this year include Britney Stoney, White Shag, MPV, and many more. Check out the full schedule here.

Doors for Whitney Garden Parties open at 5 p.m. and 21+ are welcome. The music will start at 6 p.m. and this week The HandGrenades will be joined by Jibs Brown. The Whitney is located at 4421 Woodward in Detroit.
