If you don't know by now, the Ferndale Area District Library is the coolest library around. Come on, what other library do you know of that has concerts and other super fun events like game nights? Well to keep the Ferndale Library and their cool events going, they need your help. And it just so happens that you can help by going to another cool event right down the street from the library.
This Friday, August 28th head to The Loving Touch for a Library Benefit Concert. The concert will feature 7 great acts on 2 stages. The lineup includes Chris Bathgate, 800beloved, Ancient Language, Woven Tangles, Kriss Gaynes, Mister and DJ sets from Eddie Logix throughout the night. This is the first time in a long time that Mister is playing a solo set instead of hitting the stage in Passalacqua. So that should be reason enough to check this show out!
Friday's event is set to start at 8:30 p.m. with doors opening at 8. Once the music starts, it will keep going all night long. All ages are welcome to attend. There is a suggested minimum of a $5 donation to enter the event, but as the organizers put it, you can give $6 if you really like libraries, $7 if you really... REALLY like libraries, $8 if you love libraries and $10 if you think libraries are the best places on the planet. So whatever you are willing to give, they will take it!
