This Saturday, October 24th the Michigan Science Center will be hosting their annual benefit soiree, Colorosity. The Science Center already has great exhibits all year long, but this is a chance to visit the Center after hours and have even more hands on opportunities than during a regular visit. Several special interactive stations will be set up for the evening, all revolving around color. There will be experiences using a variety of scientific reactions to produce explosions of color, stations illuminating light and color, you can discover the science of human perception at stations featuring the interaction of our senses with our brain and the world around us, and more! There will also be speakers, a performance by the Detroit Windsor Dance Academy, and a presentation called Hair Lab Detroit. On top of all of this fun, you can also check out MiSci's newest exhibit, Toytopia, featuring some of your favorite childhood toys!
Colorosity is a family friendly event, but it will be fun for just adults too! Tickets for this event range from $50-$200 and can be purchased here or at the door. The event runs from 6-11 p.m and doors open at 5:30. This is a chance to see the Science Center like never before! For more information, click here.
