Tonight some great rock & roll bands will hit the stage at Zeke's Rock & Roll BBQ! The kitchen will close a little early for a great show, in honor of Bastardous' album release. You've heard us talk about the three piece featuring Tony DelBel, Nick Gigler and Rich Tschirhart quite a few times before. Bastardous has shared the stage with everyone from The Suicide Machines to Terrible Things and have all been in other bands you probably know, including The Suicide Machines, The A-Gang, Grande Nationals, Hi-Fi Handgrenades & Mest. But tonight it is all about Bastardous! Their new album will be released on white vinyl by Bellyache Records. It was mixed by Matt Dalton at Metro 37 Studios, and according to him, after hearing and working on this album Bastardous is now one of his favorite bands. Check out the video for their new track "Kristen" below.
If you want to hear more new tunes for yourself and pick up a copy of the album, head to Zeke's this Friday, December 4th. Admission is $10 which will get you in the door and will score you a copy of the album. Joining Bastardous on stage are John Speck, The Oscillating Fan Club and Bars of Gold. $10 for these four acts is already worth it, so getting an album on top of that is quite the bonus! Doors are set to open at 10 p.m. tonight with John Speck hitting the stage right away.
Zeke's Rock & Roll BBQ is located at 240 W. 9 Mile in Ferndale. To order Bastardous' new record online, head over to Bellyache's website here.
