Now that the winter weather is finally here, it's way more difficult to make yourself leave the house. If you're looking to get out this weekend, but you don't really want to go to a bar or a show, think about heading to Main Art Theatre in Royal Oak. Every weekend they have their Midnight Madness movies where they bring fan favorites back to the big screen. This is the second week in a row that their choice is so awesome that we had to tell you about it. Last weekend they showed Fight Club and this weekend they will be showing A Clockwork Orange.
A Clockwork Orange was made in 1971 and is probably one of the weirder movies that I have seen. Created by Stanley Kubrick, the film takes place in Britain in the future where, "charismatic delinquent Alex DeLarge is jailed and volunteers for an experimental aversion therapy developed by the government in an effort to solve society's crime problem - but not all goes according to plan". That description seems a bit vague though. To get a real feel for the movie, check out the trailer below.
