There are three very different art shows coming to Eastern Market Shed5 this summer. All three shows are currently looking for artists, read ahead to see if you are the person that they are looking for. If you are, send your application in today!
Michigan Makers Market- The Michigan Makers Market (June 5th) is looking for local artists to sell their wares at this years show. They have opened up their definition of art to include "small batch foods, innovative manufacturing and unique solutions". . You can submit an application and learn more about the event here.
Live Art Detroit- Live Art Detroit ( August 21st) is an interactive art fair. Artists are encouraged to interact with the audience by presenting demonstrations and workshops. "Patrons can watch artists work, or for a small fee they can make their own items, be in a staged photo shoot or get their hands dirty in clay". The show usually has about 50 artist at they event. Adorn Detroit- Adorn Detroit (September 18th) is an art fair that focuses on clothing, jewelry and other wearable art. "Artists with one of a kind and limited edition clothing, accessories and jewelry will help you enhance your individual style" are encouraged to apply!
