This weekend a man that was made famous because of his disgusting and hilarious antics is making his way to Metro Detroit. Funny man Tom Green will be entertaining fans at Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle this Sunday, April 24th in Royal Oak. Green is best known for his show The Tom Green Show, which aired on MTV in the late '90s and into the early 2000s. He also played roles in comedies like Freddy Got Fingered and Road Trip, which left the image of Tom dangling a mouse above his wide open mouth burned into our minds forever.
Since Tom first entered our homes via MTV he has battled testicular cancer, started a web series entitled Tom Green Live, and of course, hit the road on live tours. Word on the streets is that his stand-up is absolutely hilarious and that you won't want to miss it. Check out this clip of Green performing live in NYC a couple of years ago and decide for yourself.
If you're laughing as much as we are and want to see more, make sure you make it out to the Comedy Castle this Sunday. There are still some tickets available, but they're going fast! You can pick yours up online for just $25 here. Doors are set to open at 7 p.m. and the show will start with Kevin McPeek at 8 p.m. In case you didn't already assume so, kids will not be admitted to this show. Only 18+ are welcome, so leave the kiddies at home and head out for a night of hilarious comedy!
Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle is located at 310 S. Troy St. in Royal Oak. For more information on this event, click here.
