This Sunday, April 10th Bayonne will be kicking off his tour in Detroit. The tour is in support of his debut LP Primitives that was released on Mom + Pop Records last month. Bayonne is the digital and electronic based tunes of Roger Sellers. He sites everything from Eric Clapton and Phil Collins as inspirations that have shaped him as a musician over the years, starting off playing classical piano, later studying music theory in college, and eventually becoming the musician he is today. Check out the music video for Bayonne's song "Appeals" below.
If you want to see this amazing musician perform live, head to Marble Bar this Sunday. There he will be hitting the stage along with Detroit's own James Linck. Tickets for the show are only $10 and can be purchased in advance here. We are also giving away one pair of tickets to this show! If you would like to enter to win tickets, please send your name to hipindetroit@gmail.com with Bayonne in the subject line. We will draw our lucky winner the morning of the show and will send them details on how to claim their prize.
This is going to be a great show at one of the coolest venues in Detroit. You don't want to miss it! Marble Bar is located at 1501 Holden St. in Detroit. To hear or purchase Bayonne's debut album, Primitives, click here.
