Prog Metal band The Contortionist is coming to town this Sunday and will be hitting the stage at St. Andrew's Hall. This stop is the last on their tour in support of the band's latest release Language. The album came out over a year ago, and the band has been hard at it, touring the world in support of it. Check out the band's video for Language I: Intuition off that album.
The Contortionist will be joined by Entheos and Sleepmakeswaves this Sunday, May 1. Tickets for the show are only $15 and can be purchased in advance here. All ages are welcome to attend this show and doors are set to open at 6:30 p.m. Thanks to Live Nation Detroit, we are also giving away a pair of tickets to this show! If you would like to enter, just send your name to hipindetroit@gmail.com with Contortionist in your subject line. We will draw our winner on Sunday morning and will email them details on how to claim their prize. Good luck!
