Hart Plaza Transforms into a Skateboarder's Dream for Red Bull Hart Lines this Weekend

This weekend Hart Plaza will be taken over by skateboards and Red Bull for the second annual Red Bull Hart Lines! The event is a one of a kind skateboard competition featuring an insane two lane course. A group of professional skateboarders, including Ryan Sheckler, Felipe Gustavo, Alex Midler, Ryan Decenzo will take to the course to compete on several different levels. Skaters will be judged on style, speed, and difficulty, among other categories. Creativity is a plus and time will play a big factor in who wins the competition. If you want to see these pros and the course in action head down to Hart Plaza this Saturday and Sunday, May 14 and 15. Admission to the event is free for spectators and things will kick off at 11 a.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. on Sunday. At 2 p.m. on Saturday, the actual qualifying competition will begin. Then, the top skaters from that will compete at 2 p.m. on Sunday. If you can't make it out both days, the Finals on Sunday will be shown live on Red Bull TV here. Highlights of the entire event will also be shown on NBC during a two hour show that will air at 1 p.m. on June 26th.
