It has been just under a month since El Club opened its doors in Southwest Detroit. Since then, they've hosted some awesome shows and the word on the street is that this is an awesome place to see a show. This weekend they are hosting another kick ass show that you definitely will want to check out, Trip Metal Fest!
Trip Metal Fest is a FREE festival that will feature experimental musicians. It's the first year for this fest and the organizers are already killing it with the lineup. Check it out along with set times below.

Although Trip Metal Fest is free to attend, you can buy tickets. With the crazy lineup, tons of music lovers in town for Movement, and limited space at El Club, there's a good chance that this event will reach capacity/sell out. So if you want to guarantee that you will get in the door you can buy passes. They are $75 for the weekend and can be purchased here. They aren't required, but if there's someone you absolutely do not want to miss, buy the pass.
The festival starts at 5:30 p.m. on Friday with a talk at Trinosophes, then a screening at Third Man and finally doors to El Club open at 7:30. Do yourself a favor and taking advantage of this awesome free festival this weekend! For more info and to stay in the loop throughout the weekend, head over and RSVP to the Facebook event page here.
