Don't Miss Eastern Market After Dark

Once a year the artistic community of Detroit comes together at Eastern Market After Dark. This one night only event encourages local galleries to stay open and fills the tents of the 175 year old space with art, artists, and interactive experiences. EMAD is basically a massive art inspired party in the streets.

This year's even twill feature over 30 open galleries throughout the district as well as art, art installations, interactive experiences, and designers inside  Sheds 2, 3, 4, and 5. There will also be lots of cool one of a kind items for sale and food trucks throughout the space. You can get a full map of everything at Shed 2. This will also be a great opportunity to see all of the new murals that have been painted in the market during this year's Murals in the Market.

This year's party kicks off at 7 p.m. on Thursday and goes until 10 p.m. It is free to attend and check out all of the galleries, sheds, and designers! Eastern Market is located at 2934 Russell St. in Detroit.
