The Lager House has been a Corktown fixture since the early nineteenth hundreds. It secretly served up drinks during prohibition and became a beer garden after the 21st Amendment was repealed. These days it serves as a restaurant and hip local venue for small national and local bands to take the stage.
Tomorrow night Miami based garage rockers Plastic Pinks will be coming to town to play the Lager House alongside two local Detroit acts, BLAKDOG and The Stools. If you're itching to attend a good old fashioned rock show, you can email your full name to hipindetroit@gmail.com with the subject line #pp. We will draw one lucky winner tomorrow morning and they will get attend the show with a friend for free.
