This Friday, January 20th at Noon Donald J. Trump will be sworn into office as the 45th president of the United States of America. The next day thousands of women will March into Washington DC to remind the incoming officials that woman's rights are human rights. Many people feel that Mr. Trump might need a reminder that we are in the majority and he will not be able to take rights away from any of us without a fight.
Buses of Michigan residents will head to Washington this week to march with hundreds of thousands of people from around the word. Others who are not able to make the trek to DC will walk in Detroit that morning or will make a pilgrimage to Ann Arbor to march later that same day. This is a chance for all of us to come together to show the new administration that we will stand together to make sure that America continues to move forward and become a more equal place for all.
