As you probably know by now, the Michigan Science Center hosts some pretty awesome adult only events! The center is cool enough on a normal day, but when you get rid of the kids and bring in the booze, it's even better. Well, this weekend they are holding another one of their super cool after dark events and this time around the theme is time travel.
After Dark: Time Travel will revolve around some of your favorite time travel and sci fi movies, like Back to the Future, Terminator and Dr. Who. There will be a DeLorean on site that you get take a picture in front of, an early prototype of Marty McFly's hovercraft, a planetarium show and more! There will even be a signature drink for the night, the Sonic Screwdriver (inspired by Dr. Who). On top of all of the special events, you'll also get to explore the science center throughout the evening, with a slightly smaller crowd than on a normal day.
This is all happening this Thursday, March 16th. The event runs from 6-9 p.m. and 21+ are welcome to attend. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased in advance here. You can also purchase tickets at the door on Thursday night. For more information on this event, other After Dark events, and everything going on at the Michigan Science Center, head over to their Facebook page here.
