Possibly the most pissed off band on Berserker this year is Horrible Earth. This Boston based Grindcore band features Tim Morse (Anal Cunt) and Tom Lee (For the Worse), and both the grind and east coast hardcore influences can be heard in their music. They currently have two full lengths out that you can check out here. Listen to the latest, Typical Human Behavior, below.
HID- What two words best describe your band?
Horrible Earth- "Ruinous and harmful."
Why should people check out your set at Berserker?
Horrible Earth- "People should check out our set if the want to see a non stop barrage of grindcore speed and intensity."
HID- What's the best part about playing a fest like this?
Horrible Earth- "Being from Boston and coming half way across the U.S. the best part of playing a fest like this is meeting people from different parts of the country who have similar tastes in music also meeting fans of our music and making new ones...."
HID- Are you looking forward to checking out any of the other acts on the fest?
Horrible Earth- "We are looking forward in seeing all the bands especially the return of Mike back with Eyehategod."
HID- For those Berserker goers that might not have heard your band before, name one of your songs they should definitely check out.
Horrible Earth- "Check out our track "Kill to Preserve" on our recently released album Typical Human Behavior."
HID- The lineup for this years Berserkerfest is pretty epic. If you could have any four bands headline a fest, who would you pick?
Horrible Earth- "Slayer, Nasum, the original Thin Lizzy and Obituary."
HID- When you are on tour what are three things you must have with you?
Horrible Earth- "Accurate GPS, music that we can all agree on and Alex our bass player's Wife makes amazing homemade beef jerky, it's crucial road trip food and we won't leave without it."
HID- What else should people know before they check out your band at Berserker?
Horrible Earth- "We have two great releases, our self titled album (Horrible Earth) and our new album Typical Human Behavior all available on bandcamp and a split 7 inch record with Psycho from Boston coming out soon on Bloody Scythe Records."
