Win a Pair of Weekend Passes to Berserker IV!!!

One of the most bad ass festivals of the year is just a week away! Berserker will feature 30 bands playing on 3 stages for 2 awesome nights. Now in its fourth year, this festival has brought some of the biggest names in metal to Detroit. The organizers, Shawn and Veronica Knight, work their asses off organizing this fest and this year they have put together one of the best lineups yet! Some of the bands playing this year include GWAR, EYEHATEGOD, Weedeater, OFF, and Negative Approach. There will also be big local names, like Shawn's own band, Child Bite, as well as Against The Grain, SNAFU, Fell Ruin and Euphoria. Check out the full lineup below.

This year Berserker has picked up and moved to a new home. It will be taking over the entire complex at The Crofoot for two crazy nights, Friday, April 14th and Saturday, April 15th. Doors are set to open at 6 p.m. each night, and you'd be crazy to not get there right at the beginning of the night to check out all of these bands. Tickets for both nights are only $60 and can be purchased in advance here. Single night tickets are also available for $40 a night in advance. If you wait until the night of, you'll have to pay $50 at the door each night. If you would rather purchase tickets in person, you can pick yours up at The Crofoot Box Office, UHF Records, Double Play Records, Cellarmen's, Found Sound, Iconic Tattoo, Ironclad Tattoo, Loud Music & Apparel, Modern Skateshop, Refuge Skateshop, Small's and Stormy Records.

If the fest starts on Friday, why are you drawing your winner on Thursday? Good question! We want to make sure you still have a chance to get those advance passes if you don't win. Plus, the Berserker party actually kicks off on Thursday with PREserker. The pre-bash bash will be taking place Thursday, April 13th at Small's. It will feature 10 bands and it's free to get in. Plus, if you get there in the first hour, PBRs are only $1. The lineup for PREserker includes SERVICE, Homewrecker, Nucleus, Empathy, Lt. Dan, No/Breaks, Exploding Zombies, Great Reversals, Nemesis and Grimjob. Doors for PREserker open at 7 p.m. and the first band hits the stage at 7:30.
