The Messenger Birds Release "Around the Sun" this Weekend

This Saturday night The Messenger Birds will be taking over The Loving Touch to celebrate the release of their latest single, "Around the Sun". We've joked about The Messenger Birds being "just two guys" for awhile now, but the truth is that this is one of the best bands in Detroit! Their songs are catchy, but heavy. Their live show is energetic and entertaining. And, these "two guys" are some of the best around. We had a chance to chat with Chris & Parker from The Messenger Birds on our latest podcast and we were even lucky enough to leak that new single that they're releasing. Joining The Messenger Birds for their show on Saturday are Those Hounds, Red Stone Souls, Lung and The End of The Ocean. Admission is only $5 if you pick your tickets up in advance or $8 at the door on Saturday night. You can purchase your tickets online here. The happy hour will run from 5-8 p.m. and will even feature a special "Around the Sun" drink.
