This week Detroit will celebrate art and design at the 2017 Detroit Design Festival. The five day event features all kinds of different events that you can attend. One of the coolest events is the Design Village Market located at Ponyride. The market features over 40 of Detroit's up and coming designers and it's the perfect place to get something luxurious and original. This year's show features some really great companies, including Coming Up Roses, Little House Studio Company, Rebel Nell, and Well Done Goods by Cyberoptix. You can view the full list of vendors and designers here.
The market is free to browse, but there are some events during the festival that you can pay to attend. You can check out the list of speakers and workshops here. The market will run from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday. The Ponyride Market is located at 1401 Vermont Street in Detroit.
