Take a Tour of The Fisher or The Guardian with Pure Detroit

The Fisher Building and The Guardian Building are two of Detroit's most famous landmarks  Each has a rich history that is really fun to learn about. The Fisher building was built in 1928 and it was designed by the legendary Albert Kahn. Construction on The Guardian began in 1928 and completed in 1929. Both buildings are draped in marble and limestone and are designed in the art deco style of that era. Walking through them is amazing and each is a sight to be seen.

Which is why it's really cool that Pure Detroit is doing free tours of both buildings with a guide that will tell you all about the history and design of the historical landmark while you walk through it. They have multiple tours that take place on Saturdays and Sundays. They are free to attend and you do not need to pre-register to be apart of them. Kids are also welcome. To learn more about their tour please click here. This is a cool fun and free way to experience the history of this city!
