"8 Mile" 15th Anniversary Screening

It has been 15 years since the movie 8 Mile was released to the world. From that point on, whenever you told someone outside of Michigan that you were from Detroit, they asked if you lived by 8 Mile. It put Detroit on the map in a different way than ever before and it gave the world a greater appreciation for Eminem, although the story might not completely be an exact biography.

Tonight, there will be a very special 15th anniversary screening of 8 Mile at the Bel Air Luxury Cinema on 8 Mile in Detroit. Some of the stars from the film will be on site for this red carpet screening, including the one and only Miz Korona. Tickets for this very special event are only $8 and can be purchased in advance here. Proceeds from the event will go to the Marshall Mathers Foundation to benefit the Verses Project: Exploring Literacy through Lyrics and Song. There will also be special 8 Mile concession packages and limited edition merch available on site, with those proceeds also going to the Verses Project.
