Assemble Sound has become much more than a recording studio or a venue. It has become ground zero for community building and connecting within the Detroit music scene. They have been working with all of the city's up and coming artists while building a huge catalog of music that they can help connect with media and brands to further the artists' careers. They have also established themselves as a force to be reckoned with, but the best part of Assemble is that they are willing to share the fruits of their labors.
Assemble has found all sorts of cool ways to connect artists and creatives and help them along their way. One of the coolest ways that they have been doing this is by hosting free classes in their space to learn more about how to make it in the music business. Their last class for 2017 will be taking place on November 30th, 2017. This installment will focus on Spotify and music streaming. Guest speakers will include Spotify's Jennifer Masset (Head of Indies, North America), Amber Grimes (Sr. Manager of Urban Music), Royston Landon (Director, Artists & Management) and Xavier Jernigan (Head of Shows & Editorial, North America). The class starts at 6:30 p.m. and runs for about two hours.
