Brother Son is a newer band to the Detroit music scene, but they're already making a big name for themselves. The four piece, featuring Francis Harrington on Vocals and Guitar, Chris Pecorell on Drums, Jimmy Walkup on Bass, and Drew Gijsber on Keys, got their start at the beginning of 2017. Since then, they've played their own headlining shows to huge crowds and even opened up for Detroit legends, Electric Six. Now they are gearing up to release a new EP, Young & Pretty.
The band will be celebrating the release this Saturday, November 25th at The Loving Touch in Ferndale. The EP will also be available the same day on iTunes and Spotify. Joining Brother Son for the release party are Legume, Grainger, and Captwolf. Admission to the show is only $8 and all ages are welcome.
We are also getting some lucky readers into this show for free! To enter to win a pair of tickets to the show, send your name to hipindetroit@gmail.com with #brotherson in the subject line. We will draw two lucky winners on Saturday morning and they will each get in the door that night with a friend for free.
