Looking for something cultured, classy and free to do this Friday? How about watching an assortment of famous silent French Films brought to life by the Andrew Alden Ensemble! The DSO is hosting a month-long French Festival that includes tons of different events inside The Orchestra Hall and The Cube.
The Andrew Alden Ensemble features a variety of instruments including percussion, synthesizer, piano, violin, viola and electronic production. This Friday's live performance is FREE to all and will run from 10:30 p.m. until midnight. The films will all be from different genres and will mostly focus on the cinema of the 1920's, the Andrew Alden Orchestra will be playing 100% original material.
