This Pi Day, Detroit's own Electric Honey is releasing a new album. Primetime Garbage is the second full length from the band and it's being pressed on vinyl right at Third Man Records in Detroit. For those that aren't familiar with Electric Honey, they are a five piece indie rock band featuring front man Patrick Minjeur on guitar, mandolin and vocals, Evan Gatny on guitar, keys and vocals, John Labut on bass, ukulele and vocals, Matt Doppel on drums, trumpet and vocals, and Chris Righi on the violin. They are an extremely talented band with an awesome, unique sound. Check out a few songs from Primetime Garbage below and to hear more from the band, head over to Electric Honey's bandcamp here.
You can order your copy of Primetime Garbage or download a digital version here. You can also plan to pick up a copy at the official release show on May 5th at Cadieux Cafe. Joining Electric Honey for the big vinyl release show are Wreckless Jane and Ryan Dillaha & The Miracle Men. Cover for the show is only $5 and 21+ are welcome.
