Watch Your Favorite Cult Classic in the Courtyard at Red Dunn Kitchen and Trumbull & Porter Hotel

Over the past few years there have been so many new restaurants and hot spots opening up around Detroit that sometimes it's hard to keep up with them all! The city has become a mecca for great food and awesome bars, bringing in visitors from near and far.

One spot that people have been raving about for the past several months is Red Dunn Kitchen, located at the Trumbull & Porter Hotel. Not only is it an amazing restaurant located within an awesome hotel, but it also plays host to some really cool events in their courtyard. Their outdoor stage has featured performers like our good friend Zander Michigan and a wide range of DJs have provided soundtracks for the evening, with tunes ranging from Motown hits to favorites of local musicians like Valerie Klaft.

Now Red Dunn and Trumbull & Porter are hosting another type of awesome event that we can't wait to check out. All spring and summer, and even into the fall, they will be playing Cult Classics in the Courtyard. Selections include everything from Clerks to Pee-Wee's Big Adventure and they will play every Friday night at 8 p.m. This Friday, you can head out to see Trainspotting while sipping cocktails and snacking on popcorn in the courtyard.
