In the 1970s
Chrome got its start in the rock world by not really fitting the mold of any genre. They were an extremely experimental band for their time, using synthesizers and rock instruments to create a sound that no one had ever heard before. They became known as the godfathers of industrial music. Throughout the bands span they released dozens of records and changed lineups several times. Their latest album
Techromancy was released last year.
Chrome is currently out on tour and is making its way to Detroit this
Thursday night. They will be performing live at
Outer Limits Lounge along with Detroit's own
Child Bite. Tickets to see these two amazing bands live are $20 and can be purchased in advance
