Owl City first gained popularity back in 2009 when his song "Fireflies" hit the airwaves. Since then, he has released 5 full length albums, the most recent being released this past June. Upon releasing Cinematic, Owl City's Adam Young released this statement to his fans about the album. "The message I want to communicate with the release of Cinematic is simple: don’t stop believing in magic, even if everyone else does. Keep learning to see the beauty around you and embrace the ups and downs. I wrote this album because I believe those ups are worth celebrating." The Owl City "Cinematic" tour is currently underway and will be making a stop at The Crofoot in Pontiac this Friday, September 14th. Joining Owl City for the evening is Matthew Thiessen & The Earthquakes. Tickets to see this show live are $25 and can be purchased in advance here.
