The Rust Belt Market is one of the coolest spaces in Metro Detroit. The former Old Navy Outlet turned into artisan heaven is unlike any other shopping experience around. There are 40+ vendors that are permanently located inside the building alongside a full bar, 2 pop-up spaces that change out every weekend, and an event space that hosts lots of interesting vendors and shows throughout the year.
There is also something for everyone inside the market. If you need a gift or just want to walk around and find something cool for yourself, you will. With so many vendors catering to so many different types of aesthetics, there is truly something for everyone. We highly suggest stopping in over the holiday season and seeing how many gifts you can get in one loop. We went by last week and started off our shopping by picking up a few locally made items for the neat and dear on our list. We took some photos of what we found to entice you, but we also wanted to let you know that THIS WEEKEND is the ideal time to stop by because this Saturday they will also be hosting a pin, sticker, and patch convention inside their space.
PinzuCon is returning to The Rust Belt for the second time and we cannot recommend it enough! We went by the first time around and left with a fist full of new buttons for all of our jackets and bags. If you love little pieces of swag as much as we do YOU WILL LOVE THIS SHOW! You can find all the details about the show here and you can stop by to shop The Rust Belt from noon until 7 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Saturday (special hours), and 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday.
