B.Nektar Celebrates New Mead with Some Mayhem

B. Nektar is gearing up to release a ton of new mead this May. They will be dropping a new flavor every weekend and having a celebration to mark the small batch release. This includes live music, food trucks, game nights, and more. Read ahead for a full list of events and don't forget, the B. Nektar Meadery and tap house is located in Ferndale, right outside of the downtown parking disaster. You can pretty much pull up and park outside anytime they are open and their tap house always has items that you cannot get in stores!

5/3: TruckShuka Detroit Food Truck will be parking at the tap room from 6:30-9:30 p.m.

5/4: Episode 13-3 Year Reserve bottle release starts at 2 p.m. and Senor’s Food Truck arrives at 6 p.m.

5/10: Pizza and Karaoke! PIZZA from Wood Fired Up. Doors at 5 p.m.

5/11: Chocolate Coffee Sanchez (Raspberry Mead with cacao nibs and Chazzano coffee!) bottle release starts at 2 p.m. Live Music by AfterOurs (8 p.m.) and food by Detroit Panzerotti Company food truck at 8 p.m.

5/16: Simply Spanish food truck 6-9 p.m.

5/18: The Zombies Take Manhattan (Barrel-aged Imperial Zombie Killer) Returns! Bottle sales begin at 2 p.m. The Third Wall (classic cult-films and music, feat. Eddie Logix) starts at 8 p.m.

5/22: Rush Hour Recital: Experience an intimate performance by DSO musicians at the B. Nektar taproom - no ticket or reservation required! Music starts at 6 p.m. (Jeff Zook - flute, Amanda Blaikie - flute, Jeremy Crosmer - cello)

5/24: Trailer Park Boys Themed Trivia 8p.m.

5/25: Vanilla Cinnamon (a delightful throwback to the mead that truly started it all) bottle release at 2 p.m.
