Detroit's annual
Festival of Books will be returning to the city for the third year. This year's fest will take place at
The Eastern Market, giving the thousands of attendees plenty of space to look around. This year's event will take place in Shed 3 and it will feature over 200 vendors selling books, music, and antiquarian offerings. This year will also feature drinks and food from a variety of local pop-ups, including
Nosh Pit Detroit, Big Dogs Hot Dogs,
Cherry Pit BBQ,
Cosmic Burrito, and
Eastern Market Brewing Co. The completely FREE TO ATTEND event will take place from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday and everyone is welcome to attend. But be aware, it's going to be a hot weekend so wear cool clothes, bring water, and take breaks!
