Dally in the Alley will be returning to Cass Corridor for its 42nd year this Saturday, September 7th. The annual gathering has been growing bigger and better every year and is one of our favorite annual events which means we NEVER miss Dally and you shouldn't either.
This year's street fair will feature over 160 merchants selling candles, art, jewelry, clothing, food, and one of a kind handmade items. There will be three music stages featuring a variety of musical acts, you can see the bands and set times here. Musical highlights include Bave, Bryan Hugo Iglesias, Leif Erikson, The Muggs, Tony Nova, and Octavia. There will also be a community stage that will host yoga, karaoke, and a drag show, you can find the full lineup for those free shows here.
This year's event will have a variety of food trucks stationed throughout the festival. some of the highlights include Nosh Pit, People's Pierogi Collective, Delectabowl, and Amicci's. You can see the full food lineup for the festival by clicking here.
Kids are also welcome to come to Dalley in the Alley, in fact, there will be an entire area of fun things for them to do from noon until 4 pm. This includes several arts craft projects ranging from making your own tie-dye shirt/personalized keepsakes, beeswax candle rolling to flower crown making. Plus, all of the signage that you see throughout the event was painted by local artists. This year's featured artists included Karianne Spens-Hanna, AJ Kessler, Sarah Alcodray, Aidel Finman, and Fioza Leigh Cowan. Look for their work as you walk around the show! The organizers have also created an interactive map to help guide you through the day, you can utilize that here.
This year's Dally in the Alley kicks off at 11 a.m. and officially runs through 11 p.m. on Saturday. You can keep up with all things Dally here.
