You & Your Historic Home Could Be On TV!

If you own a historic home in Detroit, you know that fixing it up can be a bit of a challenge. Whether the house has been sitting vacant or people have been living in it for decades, there always seems to be problems that arise, especially if you are working on renovating it. Anyone that watches shows on HGTV knows that there are always surprises when it comes to renovation and restoration. So, rather than going completely DIY and hoping for the best, here's a chance to have a pro help you!

Bodega Pictures (producers of Tiny Luxury and Stager Things on HGTV as well as Girl Meets Farm on Food Network) is currently holding a casting call for historic home owners in Detroit that are looking to renovate and restore their home. Whether you've bitten off more than you can chew or you've run into unforeseen circumstances in your restoration project, they want to hear from you! "Selected cast members will be introduced to an expert general contractor who specializes in historic properties. The episode will follow one homeowner as their historic home is restored to it’s former glory."

Sound like something you might be interested in? Email tvhomecasting@gmail.com with your
full name, location (must be in the Detroit area), email address and phone number, a brief bio explaining why you need/deserve help restoring your historical home, and several photos of yourselves and the property. Although there will be perks and incentives included for those that are casted, entrants should have a budget in place and should be interested and ready to restore their home within the next 3 months. Also, your home must be at least 50 years old and you have to be interested in restoring the home to it's old glory, not just doing some renovations.

This is an opportunity of a lifetime for some lucky homeowners! We would love to see one of our readers featured on TV and get some professional help restoring their dream home right here in Detroit. So get that bio written and those photos snapped and send them over to tvhomecasting@gmail.com ASAP so you don't miss out!
