If you ever find yourself in the Ann Arbor area and you want a good meal made from scratch with locally sourced ingredients, you need to stop at The Detroit Filling Station. This 100% planet-based restaurant is located in a beautiful section of downtown with an outdoor patio, amazing food, and out-of-this-world service. We've always heard people rant and rave about this restaurant, but until last weekend we had no idea what we were missing out on. They have THE BEST cauliflower wings we have ever tasted, extra-large extra interesting salads and bowls, and hefty portions that help you understand why they are called the "filling station".

The Detroit Filling Station is currently open from 12 p.m. - 7:45 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 12 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday for in-person dining, carryout, and local delivery. They are located at 300 Detroit St. in Ann Arbor. They do not take reservations, so you have to walk up and put your name in for a table. You can check out their full menu here and learn a little bit about their 10-year journey to get to where they are today here.
Vegan or meat lover, you'll enjoy this food, we promise! And yes, it's worth driving there just to have a meal at DFS.
