Hip in Detroit's Picks for the Weekend: April 1-3

We already told you about Hamtramck for Ukraine! Here are some other fun things happening this weekend. 

Friday, April 1st - Cosmic Light Shapes @ Bowlero Lounge: Cosmic Light Shapes are celebrating the release of their new full-length Solar Powered Everything as well as the anniversary re-release of their debut Nebula LP  this Friday night. They will be playing at the Bowlero Lounge along with Ancient Robots. Cover is free, 18+ are welcome, and the music starts at 9 p.m.

Friday, April 1st - Shadow Show Tour Kickoff @ Trinosophes: Shadow Show is getting ready to head out on tour in the UK and Europe, but first they are playing on more show at home in Detroit. They will be performing at Trinosphes this Friday night for their tour kickoff along with Mountains & Rainbows, The Corridors, and DJs Real Cool Time. Cover for the show is $10. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8:30 p.m.

Saturday, April 2nd - John Salvage & New Twenty Saints Release Show @ Outer Limits Lounge: It's a big weekend for new releases! John Salvage & New Twenty Saints are celebrating the release of their new album Nikita at Outer Limits on Saturday night. You can give the new tunes a listen here. Joining them for the night are Milk Bath and DJ Jam Jam w/ Blake Hill. Doors open at 9 p.m. and cover is $8. 

Saturday, April 2nd - Sisters of Your Sunshine Vapor @ PJ's Lager House: PJ's Lager House has a great show lined up for you this Saturday night. The bill includes Sister of Your Sunshine Vapor, Hot Garbage, and Kind Beast. Cover is $10. Doors open at 8 p.m. and music starts at 9.
